Race #1- 9:00 SOLO RACE COURSE: BEGINNER and 4 MILE
Kicking off the event is a Solo Race Course that will start and end in front of Crawdads. The 4-mile racers will go first, followed shortly thereafter by our beginner participants. Beginners will paddle the 1-mile loop a single time, while the 4-milers will paddle it 4 times for a total distance of approximately 4 miles. The course will head downriver with the current and the make a loop back up through the marina where the water is very flat and easy to paddle. Paddlers will then leave the marina, make a turn out of it and again head down river with the current. This is one lap. Each lap passes in front of Crawdads Restaurant where spectators and friends will be cheering you on!

- All participants receive an event t-shirt and box lunch
- Boards not provided for the Solo Race Course. FLOW Stand Up Paddle has a limited number of boards that may be reserved before race day by contacting FLOW directly.
- Board dockage behind secure gates provided after race
- Life jackets mandatory. You must bring your own life jacket to race and wear it at all times during the race.
Race #2 – 11:00 TEAM RELAY EVENT – 4 person teams
The Relay Event is a fun and entertaining event for all! The course will be located right in front of Crawdads providing an awesome view for spectators to cheer on their favorite teams. Participants will start at the accommodation dock, make a rectangle around 4 buoys, then paddle back to the dock to switch to the next team member. Each team member will paddle the course once for a total of 4 laps.
- $140 registration per team
- All participants will receive a t-shirt and box lunch
- Teams of 4 will compete in assigned heats of 4 teams (total of 16 participants per heat)
- Heats organized based on experience level. Teams will be able to choose their experience level during registration.
- Individual relay sign ups available during registration. Just register as an individual relay participant ($35) indicating your level and time preference, and we will assemble the teams. You will get confirmation of your team members and contact information in advance
- You do not need your own board to participate! FLOW will be providing all boards and lifejackets. There will be ONE board for each team of 4.
- Life jackets provided and must be worn at all times while on the water.
- There will be 3 rounds/start times (11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM). Teams will be able to select their preferred start time during registration. Teams with members participating in the Solo Race Course will be given priority to the first 2 rounds.
- Costumes encouraged! We will be awarding Crawdads on the River gift cards to the most festive and creative. Dress for fun, but remember to keep it safe.
